TUESDAY NIGHT SELF TAPE WORKOUT

DATES: JANUARY 21, 27, FEBRUARY 3, 10, 17, 24, MARCH 3 & 10 (MAR 10 is via Zoom) - 7PM -10PM

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SELF TAPE WORKOUT

DATES: JANUARY 21, 28, FEBRUARY 4, 11, 18, 25, MARCH 4 & 11 (MAR 11 is via zoom) - 7PM - 10PM

ABOUT THE SELF TAPE WORKOUT SESSIONS

This is 8 weeks of intensive scene work with Casting Director Dave Newman. It's all about performance muscles and being ready to go (and minimising stress levels during the process).

For 7 weeks, we do a different scene each week - chosen by you & Dave. Week 8 is via zoom - where we look at recalls & chemistry reads in a zoom environment.

We will look at these scenes from a self taping perspective, including defining your business plan and strategy for self taping, building confidence in directing your auditions, choosing takes & navigating watching yourself.

This class is a collaboration - a supportive group, you will read for each other, rehearse with each other and be an active part of the discussions about the scenes.

This won't be about doing scenes you think people will want to see or what you 'should be’ doing - but about choosing scenes that are right for you, sit on you well and that you have a connection or identify with. We may agree or disagree on scene choices - that’s part of the process.

By the end of the 8 weeks, our goal is for each participant to have an individual, strong business plan and approach to self taping, plus a series of great reference clips that you can either put on your casting profiles or give to your agent as tools to help them do their job.

Costs: $495 (inc GST) Payment plans available - Strictly limited to 16 participants in each session

For those wanting to do a payment plan, only the deposit is required on booking, all other payments won’t kick in until the classes start on Jan 20 or 21 in 2026.
